In November of 1995, I visited Seattle for the first time. I was attending Arizona State University and my parents had just moved to the Pacific Northwest. The weather was rainy, windy, dark and I didn’t even own a raincoat. I was perpetually soaked my whole visit. But, here’s the thing – I didn’t even mind that it was rainy, I was wet and cold to the bone. I was in complete awe of the beauty of Seattle. There was water, trees, ferries, mountains with snow, coffee shops, microbrews, and charming architecture EVERYWHERE! For the first time in my 22 years, I felt like I was home and that I belonged somewhere.
I returned to Arizona, applied to the University of Washington, was accepted and moved to West Seattle six months later. I was lucky enough to transfer with the company I worked for and continued to put myself through college.
I worked my tail off going to school and at my job, but I always found the time to just drive the neighborhoods, stop for coffee, a walk or browse a few shops. I was captivated by the city of neighborhoods. The small cottage bungalows in West Seattle, the mid-century ramblers in Seahurst, the cape cod in Madison Park, the Victorian Mansion in Rainer spoke to me. I dreamed of owning one of these types of homes someday…
Fast forward a few years, and I had graduated college, was married to the sweetest guy from the Midwest and we had just had our third child. It was 2007 and my husband, Ted and I began investing in the Seattle real estate market which was really a dream for both of us. We began to flip homes and acquire rental properties. Pleased with the results of our first few flips, I ultimately decided to earn my license once our youngest child headed off to school.
Soon enough, I was busy serving aspiring buyers and sellers in my community and forged a compelling career as an agent in my own right. Today, I’ve built an impressive track record for superlative client care, forthrightness and relationships built to last.
Based in West Seattle, I serve clients of all kinds across the greater metropolitan region, going wherever clients lead in one of the nation’s most competitive markets. To date, I have grown the vast majority of my business through repeat and referral clientele, in addition to those contacts made during memorable open house events.
For the most part, I credit enthusiasm, honesty and personalized service as the leading characteristics of my working style. Furthermore, my service offerings run the gamut and I make it point to account for even the smallest details. I’m a full-service Realtor and clients get a concierge-style service when working with me. In this business, honesty and integrity are everything. My customer service and coordination skills are top-notch, and I hold my clients’ hands from the beginning to the end. I also cite responsiveness and positivity as key factors of my success. I have a can-do attitude and always keep my clients encouraged. It’s also important to think outside the box with creative ways to write-up an offer or by exploring emerging areas. I am my clients’ advocate — from recommending subcontractors and finding the right lender, to identifying the ideal communities and school systems, even perks for pets. It’s always my goal to help clients fulfill their every dream. All in all, I always have their backs.
Outside of the office, I like to connect with my community through various charitable efforts. I really enjoy spending time with my family and loved ones, especially alongside my husband as we cheer on our three kids at their various sports events. Likewise, I enjoy cooking, reading, and staying active through morning boot camps, yoga and on trail-runs through Seattle’s Lincoln Park.
